Syncholamine provides the precursors (raw materials) to assist the body's production of the neurotransmitters epinephrine, norepinephrine and dopamine. These three hormones are excitatory neurotransmitters (NT's). A deficiency of any of these neurotransmitters can cause depression, fatigue, food cravings and addictions, and weight gain. Low dopamine is also associated with Parkinson's disease. A neurotransmitter profile is used to evaluate altered brain chemistry.

St. John's Wort is covered by health insurance in Germany as a prescription drug, where an estimated 20 million people take it to treat depression. Studies suggest that St. John’s Wort inhibits the reuptake of serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine, thereby making these neurotransmitters more available to the brain.

Decreased levels of vitamin B12 are known to cause depression.

Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine HCl) 15mg
Folic Acid 500mcg
Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) 300mcg
L-Tyrosine 350mg
L-Phenylalanine 250mg
St. Johns Wort (Hypericum perforatum) extract (aerial) 0.3% Hypericin 125mg

Other Ingredients: Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (Vegcap).

Contains no added starch, salt, wheat, gluten, corn, coloring, or dairy products.

Recommended Dose: two to four capsules per day before breakfast on an empty stomach.
